About Me

I am Ymani Bennett, an English major with a concentration in Writing & Rhetoric at Texas State University. My academic work focuses on critical analysis, rhetorical awareness, and the intersections of identity, education, and digital culture. Through literary study, research writing, and personal narrative, I examine how language shapes power, belonging, and social change.

As a writer, I am especially interested in clarity, ethical communication, and storytelling as a form of resistance. Whether composing analytical essays, technical documents, or counterstories, I approach writing as both intellectual inquiry and craft. My goal is to produce work that is thoughtful, structured, and grounded in purpose.
